So, this last month has seen a lot. We held the first Oregon Manifest show which was a blast, cross crusade has been going off (go to pdxcross.com to see some amazing coverage of it!), and I have moved Hufnagel Cycles into a new building! It has been an insane amount of work getting it to happen but i'm in there now and i know it's going to be awesome. I'm now at 1515 se Ankeny in portland. I have been in love with this little building for a long time so when the chance to be working out of it came about I had to do it. There are also some new bikes up on the bicycles page! I have been building cross bikes non stop so there are finally a couple up there to feast your eyes on. Hope you are all doing great as well and i better see you this weekend at the Cyclo-cross Single speed world championships!!

So this past weekend was a blast, everything to do with the show and bikes and friends went awesomely. I had a great booth display thanks to my sister who happens to be an amazing interior designer, and my friend Jon who helped me build it. Check out some photos of the booth build on her flickr

If you haven't seen it yet, issue #4 of Cog magazine is out and is awesome! There is an eight page article on Hufnagel Cycles with a pull out photo and all!!! The whole issue is really great and you can get a hold of one at

A lot of things happening lately at the shop and in portland in general! Portland has been consumed by bike related events lately and a group of motivated people are making another one happen in october that is going to be amazing. Oregon Manifest is a national hand made bicycle show in conjunction with a huge cyclocross race and many other satellite events that is going to prove to be an extremely fun weekend from October 10th thru the 12th. Stay updated and get excited at oregonmanifest.com . In shop news, a ton of bikes have been flowing out lately and my sister has been an enormous help in redoing the layout of the shop. Definitely reaching new levels of productivity and organization! Keep up on the flickr site for regular build updates and completed builds too.

So, i just got back from a two week trip to berlin! It was a great break, and even better visit with some awesome friends. I will have a flickr page up soon with all the pics, as well as some new build photos! While in berlin i got to deliver one of the NAHBS show bikes to my friend Brendan, and got a ton of city bike inspiration. I also got to check out the Keirin Cycle Cafe and shop which was awesome. Mo and Gary do a great job there and you can really tell that they are a hub of berlin cycling culture.
